Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search Tools
When you type a name, place, or other query into a search box, that information is sent to the third-party company that operates the tool. Its own terms and privacy policy govern the query after submission. Jasper County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Email and Contact Messages
If you send an email or use an available contact form, we retain the message and contact details as needed to respond. We do not share the message outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal demand.
Technical Information Collected Automatically
Routine web systems and service providers may record technical details when a page loads. This data helps measure traffic, maintain performance, detect faults, and understand how visitors reach and use the site. It may include:
- The internet protocol address used for the visit
- The browser name and version
- The device class and operating system
- Pages opened and the amount of time spent on them
- The referring website or source, when available
- The date and time associated with a request
Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies and related browser storage may be used to understand visits, remember basic preferences, support advertising, and measure site activity. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some functions or preferences may work differently when cookies are disabled.
How Information Is Used
Collected information is used for ordinary operation and improvement of the Jasper County resource. Those purposes include:
- Keeping pages available, responsive, and reliable
- Sending submitted searches to the selected partner service
- Learning which release-record pages visitors find useful
- Finding errors, misuse, and technical failures
- Displaying advertising that may reflect a visitor's interests
Government and Third-Party Links
The site links to the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, Georgia Department of Corrections, state courts, parole and supervision agencies, public-record sources, and third-party search tools. Some government access routes concern records available under the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. Section 50-18-70 et seq. Once you follow any outside link, the destination's privacy notice and terms control its collection and use of information.
Advertising companies and other partners may use cookies or related technology on their own systems to measure activity across websites and deliver interest-based ads. Their tracking practices are separate from the site's direct collection and are governed by their policies and available opt-out tools.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may still be disclosed to service providers or authorities that perform the following roles:
- Search partners that process the query a visitor submits
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and site use
- Advertising networks that deliver or assess ads
- Law-enforcement agencies or other government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security Has Practical Limits
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information handled directly by the site. No website, network, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed fully secure. We therefore cannot promise that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure will never occur.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor submitted personal data, they may contact us and request its deletion from systems we control.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the limits of records held by other organizations, you may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of personal data held about you
- Correct personal information that is inaccurate
- Delete personal information maintained by us
- Stop or limit certain processing where an opt-out right applies
These requests apply only to data under this site's control. Government agencies, search partners, analytics providers, and advertising services maintain their own records and request procedures.
